New Mexico Raw Feeders Survey

Hey, raw feeders! I will soon be taking over the Love Your Dog Company which supplies Oma’s Pride frozen raw food to individual customers and the local ABQ co-op. With many changes (and losses) of past delivery and storage options, I am reaching out to the community to better understand your needs with the goal of coming up with a solution that benefits us both. As a long time raw feeder myself, I know how important it is to have reliable sources of quality products and cost competitive options for feeding our pets.

How many dogs and/or cats are you feeding?

Where do you purchase most of your frozen raw food?

How many pounds of raw food do you purchase each month?

What types of products do you purchase? "Complete" or supplemental mixes, individual proteins (either ground or whole), organs and offal, chews, etc.

Would you like access to proteins other chicken, turkey, beef and lamb? Like what?? Rabbit, duck, quail, fish, green tripe, exotics?

Is there something you'd like that you haven't been able to get or afford locally? What's on your wish list?

If you were able to save money by buying in bulk, do you have freezer space to store a two month supply of food for your pets?

Are you (or a reliable helper) able to pick up your bulk order in the afternoon once every other month?? I don't know the when and where yet, but will try to choose a central location or vary locations to be as fair as possible to everyone.

For planning purposes, give me an idea of where you are located: east side, west side, Rio Rancho, south valley, Santa Fe, east mountains, farther away.

Are you interested in coordinating with other raw feeders in your area to simplify and share the burden of picking up?

Do you, or someone you know, own a business in ABQ with a loading dock that might be willing to accept a shipment from our delivery company??
